Established in 1992, Aussie Home Loans has grown to become Australia's largest non-bank lender, now providing over $10 billion in home loans to more than 130,000 Australians. The Aussie Home Loan national network has offices in all capital cities and major regional areas. It also has more than 450 mobile mortgage advisors.
Aussie home loans successfully launched a new business model in September of 2002 with the introduction of its national mortgage broking operation, Aussie Mortgage Market. That operation is now writing new loan volumes that are up approximately 300%. The custom-built application software program, Mortgage Explorer, is a key part of the success of the Aussie Mortgage Market. It is used by it's mortgage advisors to analyse clients' needs and to aide in recommending an appropriate mortgage solution.
In April 2003, the Aussie Group signed a three year partnership with Simbient to outsource all software development. Under the agreement, Simbient will provide all development for software and systems relating to Aussie's web sites and the Aussie Mortgage Explorer.
